Ramesh founded second sigmoid to empower organisations to transform successfully after having lead large country, regional and global transformation roles with organisations in Singapore, London, New York, India, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Second Sigmoid Ramesh spent several years building an exceptional track-record in delivering multi-geography strategic programs and is regarded as a specialist in translating strategy into action with key expertise in enterprise wide strategic change.
Ramesh’s transformation experience spans across multiple domains including end-to-end banking operations in wealth, retail & commercial businesses, shared service CoE setups, ITeS & BPO programs, legacy system replacements, new platform deployments, Product launches etc. An expert in delivering complex digitization programs using RPA, BPM, AI based cognitive enterprise solutions etc, Ramesh has many years of experience using varied delivery models and building enterprise wide change culture for every conceivable transformation. He also brings his leadership in cross cultural workforce management and can effectively engage stakeholders across the spectrum to spearhead concepts & ideas including Boards, Country management committees, Union representatives and regulators.
Ramesh is passionate about youth and their ability to play a catalyst role in transforming businesses as change agents and creating deep impact. Empowering youth through skills and competencies and grooming them to help enterprises is something that he gets excited with. Ramesh pioneers in creating a bespoke enterprise practice to enable, sustain and bring value by embedding youth into project Boards.
Ramesh is an electronics graduate and received his MBA from IBS. He has also attended several executive programs from top universities including LSE, NYU, Harvard, Columbia, and MIT. Ramesh is a qualified project manager, ACM champion, six sigma Green Belt holder and an adept mentor & coach. An avid traveler & foodie he brings fun, energy and passion to his change practice. Ramesh climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and rates this as one of his greatest personal achievements. He was also awarded the prestigious ‘Top 40 Under 40 Men’ by the Business Daily Africa for his contributions in 2011.
